Meet the Dog Days Team
Paul and Lynn Southworth established "Dog Days" in 2009, initially under the name "Doggy Day Care and Dog Walking". They offered dog walking, day care and pet holidays in the East Lancashire and North Yorkshire area. In 2012 they were joined by their son Oliver who shared their love of dogs and brought much needed youth and energy to the rapidly growing business!
Their services have now expanded to include dog training and behaviour advice and along with those changes came the re-branding to "Dog Days".

- After a twenty year career in the Careers Service Lynn made a major career change by turning her love of dogs into a full time job.
Her interest in dog training grew and in particular her wish to work with dogs with behavioural problems so she completed a Foundation Degree in Canine Behaviour and Training at Bishop Burton College.
Lynn now offers a full range of dog training services from classes to one to one advice.
- Paul ran Kelbrook Village Post Office for ten years and following its closure took the opportunity to work with Lynn in setting up their dog walking business. He now spends his days transporting dogs from their homes to the Dog Days Field so that he, Lynn and Oliver can take them out for their daily walks.
Cat sitting is a growing area of the business and Paul enjoys spending time with those cats left in our care whilst their owners are away on holiday.
- Oliver joined the business in 2012 after completing his degree in Music, he still performs with a local band.
His days are now spent walking with groups of dogs on the Dog Days Field and as far as he is concerned he has the best of all worlds!
Oliver has brought his knowledge of marketing and social networking to the business; a skill that was previously lacking. He is responsible for the presence of "Dog Days" on social media sites and the continued development of their internet presence.
